2day's musical score:John Legend's "SHOW ME" Good Evening all..Long time no blog..ok, so last time I rocked, I promised the answers to the mysteries of life..or @ least what was happening in mine. Firstly my Yanks shocked the ......outta me, all the blood sweat and tears of the regular season down the tubes, GOD that was BAD!!! secondly I live in & operate a music & variety shop in a 1 horse town called franklin located in virginia, which recently suffered a horrible flood in our downtown buisness area(my shop is on the main drag)which had me outta commission for a week and change.fortunetly for me and my imediate neighbors we sustained NO structural damage to our properties, not even an OUNCE of water on our street!!I can't say the same for those around the entire area however.So, you can well imagine my great dissmay and frustration that entire week(2 weeks ago to be exact).Since then buisness has been HORRIBLE!!! I REALLY NEED A VACATION, BEFORE I LOSE ALL 2 OF THE MARBLES I HAVE LEFT!! LASTLY,the weather here is starting to change drastically, which let's me know the holiday's aren't too far off, which makes me even MORE depressed..hence my listening to J.Legend's "SHOW ME" how wonderfully appropreiate for my mood.I figured I'd jump on this bad boy for a minute and do some venting.. Good Evening All, how's thangs going? Johnnie gorgeous here, why? cuz basicially there's NO WHERE else to be.Today was SLOOOW MOTION BABY, thursday's @ work usually are for me,the only highlight was choppin' it up on the horn earlier with my buddie KD, and hearing an authenic west indian accent(besides my mom's of course).KD's up in NYC, and keeps me in the loop on the daily, (although it's mostly about her life and friends),it's great yapping with her all the same.Hey, @ least she's got a life!!I've made a promise to myself to hit up the bookstore this weekend,and grab a couple of novels,then grab a couple of new outfits, then HANG..the weather's starting to change, so I gotta step my "fall clothes game" up.I went to a few spots a couple of weeks back, but everything looked real corney!!Is it me or what's supossed to look NEW is OLD, because OLD is the "NEW" style??!! Sheesh if I still wanted to dress like I did in high school, I WOULD'VE NEVER GROWN UP!!!( or gotten rid of any of my stuff!)Anyway, life is good,I'm blessed, Oh yeah, and I'd like to say to my buddie DEVIN, GOD BLESS, and I'm praying for ya mamma...on that note, EASY!

Good People, it is I once again, JOHNNIEOUS GORGENIUS THE FIRST!! ( been watching that ROME on dvd like a mofo!!)LEND ME YOUR OPTICALS!! ok, lemme stop, can't sleep, mad hype bout my YANKS,the weather, my store,this weekend, my nephew,and the prospects of life on a whole.I tend to think and dwell on tons of topics in which I can't control, but I guess that's what makes my days go by faster,& expecting the unexpected.I need to fall into some dinero, pronto, cuz I gotta go home(NYC) FOR LIKE A HOT MINUTE!! I gotta recharge my batteries asap, it always makes me appreciate living in a lovely house down here in va more as well..especially when dem hotels up there take away some of my shopping and play $$$.( listening to D'angelo's "one mo' gin" thinking, homie just fell off the face of the earth, unfortunetly, due to his nose candy problem along with an assortment of other illegal pharmacuticals, in the famous words of chaz"SONNY"palmenteri in "a bronx tale" THERE'S NUTTIN WORSE DAN WASTED TALENT")GOD bless you dawg, I hope you can shake dat monkey!! on a lighter note,I started dancing again, as a form of exercise( no numnut, not exotic dancin, showin da ladies I got rhythm,so that they'll wanna "rock n roll" aka perform behind closed door acts wit da kid!dancin)Ask ANYBODY that knows me, I'm THE DEREK JETER OF THE DANCEFLOOR!!!with MVP type numbers!!come by the BLAKE or THE ALLEY or UPSCALES & you'll see what I speak of.. until then my friends... Good Evening all..... who am I kidding?!?!? It's a GREAT, GRAND EVENING!!! like I really have to say it?? my YANKEES ARE THE AL EASTERN CHAMPIONS!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHH THE SWEET SMELL OF VICTORY... I'm quite sure it can be smelled aaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllll the way to BOSTON!!( yuck!! boston, the stench of the name alone makes me nausious) SO, how's that whole not making the playoffs this year thing working for ya hmmm??and you guys thought the curse was over, HA!!! HBO really got dey shit together,my only complaint is it takes toooooooooo damn long for the next season to drop... i.e. OZ (when it was on)THE WIRE,( which is the hottest joint on the tube)SEX &THE CITY??!?!?( sorry ladies,it ain't going down like dat, the KID can't feel you!!) & of course... SOPRANOS(last 2 seasons have been WILDLY CHEESY,then again it's hard to top the first 2&3)Getting back to ROME, is it just me that feels this way when I say,.. when I watch a great show , I just wish I could be part of it, whether it's writing some ideas, part of the crew, or mostly a star on the show??!?!? I know, I know crazy right??
